FIRE RETARDANT INTUMESCENT PAINTS FOR INTERIOR USE

For details on application, maintenance & precautions, refer to can labels or product data sheets

Flame Control No. 10-10 Flat Alkyd Paint is available in White and Black and is manufactured in accordance with U.S. Federal Specification TT-P-26C. It is designed for use on interior surfaces and dries quickly to a velvety flat finish having the appearance of a conventional paint. Upon exposure to fire, No. 10-10 intumesces (puffs up) forming a dense cellular foam layer. This foam layer greatly reduces the surfaces burning characteristics of combustible materials and retards the penetration of heat to wood or metal surfaces. May be tinted at 2 ounces of colorant per gallon maximum to light pastel shades.

For maximum durability, top coat with Flame Control No. 40-40 or No. 30-30 Overcoat

Underwriters Laboratories (ULC) Fire Hazard Classification (when applied to Douglas Fir)

Flame Control No. 20-20 Flat Latex Paint is available in White and Black and is manufactured in accordance with U.S. Federal Specification TT-P-001932. This product is designed for use on interior surfaces where it is either necessary or preferred to reduce the surface burning characteristics of the substrate. It dries quickly to a flat matte finish having the appearance of a conventional flat paint. When exposed to heat or flame, No. 20-20 intumesces (puffs up) forming a dense cellular foam layer which reduces the penetration of heat, thus retarding flame spread. May be tinted at 2 ounces of colorant per gallon maximum.

For maximum durability, top coat with Flame Control No. 40-40 or No. 30-30 Overcoat

Underwriters Laboratories (ULC) Fire Hazard Classification (when applied to Douglas Fir)

Flame Control No. 320A Flat White Latex Paint is designed for use where it is necessary or preferred to reduce the surface burning characteristics of the substrate. When exposed to flame or high heat, No. 320 intumesces (puffs up), building a thick foam barrier to shield the substrate from the fire. The coating dries in about 30 minutes to an attractive flat finish. May be tinted at 4 ounces of colorant per gallon maximum.

For maximum durability, top coat with Flame Control No. 666A Overcoat
Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Fire Hazard Classification (when applied to Douglas Fir)
